Comcast. Only thing available here other than frontier which is dial up. They arent available for our home unless one of our neighbors cancel.

Getting ready for bed here. I'll post any news I find in the AM. In the mean time thank you to all our mods doing the best they can to keep this open. You cannot expect going into a meat bird thread that anyone supports your opinion that raising birds for food is wrong nor can you expect that here. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and views but lets all do our best to be respectful to one another. Like if someone posts a story saying they had covid and they treated themselves with ivermectin instead of being accusatory just say "im glad youre feeling better. While i do not agree with you not following the advive of your dr. I am glad that helped you". Ive had some good convos with people on here and some bad but from the bad Ive learned that its better to be nice to everyone and go about your day than pick a fight. Lets keep everything peaceful here. I appreciate you all right now as I'm currently in a health crisis. Still no word from the dr. and I'm really concerned I have covid right now. If it were the "I've got the shot club" thread or the "proudly unvaccinated for covid thread" thread then this would be the equivalent of a meat birds thread.

Good morning everyone. Not much to report of Covid this morning. I read 2 conflicting stories. One said that they found Pfizer 4x less effective in preventing omicron and another that said its very effective at preventing it. Not sure what to believe on that.
A man from New Zealand apparently received 10 covid shots in one day. No word on how he is but its rumored to have been a protest for them not asking for ID. Other than that its christmas and politics.

He was doing it by going to different vaccination clinics, they were paying people to get the shot. It was for the $

NY dropped the mask mandate inside May 19.

NY is reinstating the mandatory masking indoors Mon. It says for facilities that do not have a vaccine plan. Not sure if that means businesses for workers or all store's?

I suppose this is the danger of essentially bribing people to get the shot. I hope that that guy is ok but thats a very dangerous thing to do for just 1000 dollars worth of gift cards.

I would think that applies to places where they do not require their employees to get the jab. But then again that wouldnt apply to people unvaccinated coming into the facility so not sure if it even makes sense
