The mods dont want complaints of people arguing. It has been explained multiple times. I understand the way you feel though. A lot of people are pent up from being cooped up. But the mods are doing everything in their power to keep this thread open so people can talk, not argue. That is my understanding of it but feel free to ask them. @casportpony checks in frequently. Perhaps they can shed a light on what specifically is considered on topic or not. Either way I'll stay quiet for a bit. Feel free to talk about whatever youd like

many people haven’t worn masks since vaccines became widely prevalent.

i haven’t worn a mask in months except for in a few places that i absolutely needed to be that required one.

emergency responders are working outdoors, i don’t see a real need for a mask in that situation.

my reply was to someone who said that masking up should be second nature by now.

id contend that a majority of people haven’t worn a mask daily for quite some time now.

As long as posts follow the BYC rules they are fine. Off topic is okay. From my understanding this thread was created so people could share their experiences, and how they are coping.

It was never intended as a thread to debate health care treatment. People can share any treatments they may have received, but debating what is best is not allowed based off the terms and rules. As long as everyone remains respectful and within the rules every thing is okay.

We have all been stuck in this new normal for a long time. Venting can be good. Arguing not so much.

IL has an indoor mask mandate.
The Amazon warehouse was in IL

Just changing the subject with an anecdote. Last year when I went to renew my "promotional service" for internet (30 bucks a month) they gave me such a runaround. The call took forever to get to someone, then that someone was in india and they put me on hold forever and then denied to extend it. I had to call back and say "cancel my service" before they said ok. Called today to renew. Took me forever to get a hold of someone but he just said "30 a month? K you got it." Im thinking it has something to do with the fact that they have to give it to people for free now but idk. Their latest promotion is 20 bucks a month but thats new customers only. Plus I'm happy with my 30...so long as it stays that way. Never looked into the free program for it because I feel thats for the less fortunate.
