It isn't pointless. It is nice to have a little bit of voice. Getting called a troll or having the ignore button pointed out or such is better than the total loss of voice that usually happens when the (current, don't look at yesterday's) narrative isn't bowed to low enough.

To be fair, there is much less of any of it here than most places with a range of viewpoints.

For what it is worth, I don't believe much of either side because neither side does very well with fairly applying the evidence they say supports their views.
