It wasn't a true gown. At the ob GYN they don't use gowns like hospitals...or at least the one I went to didn't...because it was just something to cover you since you weren't leaving the room. I'd say it looks like paper towel but body size and you just lay it over your bare parts. Then the doctor lowers it when doing the breast examine.
Fair to say that I have no personal knowledge how things are done at the gynocologists office ;) Maybe they are like that here as well.

Here used to be cloth but the last few decades it's been
Sit on paper sheet
Have paper gown that mainly covers the top and paper sheet for lower half.

The release of 30 million barrels of oil is just a "feel good" thing. The USA uses about 19 million EVERY DAY. 30 million won't be a blip on a blip. Now if that happened back in spring/summer of 2020 when pretty much no one was driving, it would be a significant amount.
The US Strategic Petroleum Reserve is a a series of 'crude oil' (unrefined) storage facilities in Texas and Louisiana. The oil is stored in 'hollowed out' salt domes far underground.
I'm familiar with them because I worked on an associated project in the late '70's.
I remember traveling 75 mins each way to work 7/12 hr shifts in summer (literally) on the Mississippi River. Gasoline jumped to $1.00 a gallon and there was a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth.

He did shut the pipeline down as soon as he got into office. I guess that didn5 have any impact.
I actually heard a financial analyst on the news say that it did. She said the if that pipeline had not been shut down our requirement for Russian oil would be null and void. Basically since the pipeline was shut down we required Russian oil. Europe also requires it. Now Europe can't get it so demand has gone up.

Dude are you in your 70s?! It's so cool to me to be able to connect with people on here that are older than myself and yet so similar in beliefs. It gives me hope for our younger generations. Btw in my early 30s. But most of my friends are in their 60s. My sister says I have "old people hobbies" because I like spinning wool, quilting, sewing and knitting. To me that's hobbies of making things that are useful.

Keystone was stopped.
Nord Stream 2 was green lighted.
ANWR closed
Federal leases cut by 75%
EastMed pipeline support abandoned
Outrageous "environmental regulations
Fracking ban
Very true, the goverment produces NOTHING. But they have the power to crush production of anything through policy.

No. Just 67 laps around the Sun. :old But a lot of my buddies were WWII vets.

I have never gotten it yet and I am vaccine free.
Hope you don't. A friend just got over it. Was deathly ill. Got a lot of blood clots. Never vaccinated. We have three nurses in our family. Says the ones being hospitized are the unvaccinated. One of our daughters works in labor and delivery. So many babies lost because moms came in with covid, unvaccinated.
