It could be an inflammation or autoimmune response. Also look into an inflammation diet. Most will have you cut dairy initially to see if it's suspect. It doesn't mean you have to stay off it though. Some people are able to resume some dairy after healing their system and figuring out what';s triggering the issues.Oh wow that’s so interesting! And also kind of stinks! Haha
And thanks! I’ll definitely have to look into it!!
I’m thinking I may have to cut out dairy. I hate being stuffed up (even though it goes away after a few hours) and I’ve been having a lot of other sinus issues too off and on for a couple years and I heard eliminating dairy can solve it, even long term issues, but I love ice cream too muchand I use butter and cheese and stuff a lot. I could eliminate those though I think.
I’ll have to check out the elimination diet though because I actually have some inflammation sometimes too, mostly if I eat too much salt, my fingers/joints will get all swollen. That’s a new (couple years) one too.
It kind of makes me wonder if there isn’t something bigger going on though considering all these issues all popped up around the same time.
And FYI, we love ice cream too. Took me a while but I developed a good dairy free vanilla custard almond milk recipe.
There are a lot of good DF (dairy free) ice cream recipes out there that rely on coconut milk that I hear are good, but we are not fans of coconut flavored stuff so I haven't tried many of them yet.
