Sadly, most doctors have become so beholden to the 'institution' that they fail to see how they are becoming victims. Their work is being pushed onto nurses, assistants, and pharmacists.

Also sadly, By the time a Dr starts to see, they are too far in debt to back out.

Yup - It's not the individuals I have an issue with. They studied difficult subjects for a long time and have hefty student loans to pay off. I'm absolutely willing to pay for their skill and expertise.
What I DO have a problem with is Big Pharma charging astronomical amounts for "proprietary" drugs and treatments. They're not trying to recover research and development costs. They're charging it because they CAN. They're just like a playground bully. "It's MY ball - or in this case, medication,) so pay what I want, or I'll take my pills and go home!"

And collusion from the FDA. Years ago the FDA approved a substitute drug to be used in sudafed because meth. Now they say that the drug is ineffective and potentially dangerous. But I am supposed to trust them on the safety of covid shots.

As a mother who's child would die without an epi pen the out of pocket cost would kill us. Also my daughters adhd meds oop would be $278 a month if it weren't for insurance. Not including inhalers for both girls each month.

Insurance is a large part of the problem.

Oh you're telling me! We are on state insurance for now but after this year my husband will "make too much" for a family of 7. I don't work cause his mother lives with us and is a head case....long story... so.i have to stay with her. Idk what we'll do once we have to pay out of pocket. Probably lose our house or file bankruptcy
