What does this p word mean?
Pansexual (prefix-pan from Greek meaning all).
Basically interested in any gender, like bisexual but a little different. The way we use the words is bi means ambivalent about the gender of your partner and pan means apathetic towards it. Some people use them differently. But for quantitative purposes they're the same.

We both have 5+ consecutive years of clear STD tests on record and every pint of blood is tested before it goes to the blood bank but men who sleep with men (and women who sleep with men who are ok sleeping with men) can't donate even if they're clean and the nation has a blood shortage.
The rules change down to one year may allow us to donate blood. But some of our married monogamous gay friends were actively turned away by the red Cross this week.
