Yeah I wanted to make a comment but kept my (unmasked) mouth shut. But she just kept touching it.

Fabric doesn't stop the virus anyway. Could it help, I guess. But people will be people and think they wont have to abide as much to CDC suggestions.

A lot of people on here are making fabric masks, you do what you have to do when there's no choice. Can't buy masks if you legally can't go out without one. She can't find any commercially made ones anyhow. She couldn't even find elastic for the masks so the ties are strips of fabric. She's hoping to make enough so they can at least go get groceries because she's pretty much out.

Friend of a friend passed away from COVID this week. Nobody I knew but that's starting to get pretty close to home.

Yeah it's a bummer. Like I said, nobody I knew but it still sucks. Definitely getting uncomfortable as we watch those numbers rise.
