I guess I am just old. Once upon a time everything was black and white to me - now the world is far more gray, and I realize that I don't know everything. Frankly I thirst for open mindedness and learning.

We are in SE PA under total lock down. Schools, non essential businesses and liquor stores are closed. Essential stores like food and big box are open. No paper towels, tp, sanitizer wipes, or spray sanitizer to be found. Food stores have been raided but were somewhat restocked on Sunday. Milk, frozen veggies, and canned goods are gone. Crazy times we are living in. I'm just hanging with my daughter, puttering in the garden and playing with my chickens. Really all you need in life. Be well everyone!

Oh no, You misunderstand. I agree with you. I think it's a big SMH moment to put "the economy" above peoples lives for example. But some people just feel the need to be that way. Much like those goats feel the need to love them boots. So you just move on.

Thanks Sour. I have gone through enough this past month. I've been staying home and talking to my peeps (literally) my little bantams are talkers

I've got eggs in the bator keeping me busy. New ducklings too so I'm not tempted to go anywhere.

My husband has been great with picking up stuff on his way home from work. He also goes directly to the shower and puts his clothes in the washer as soon as he gets home. He doesn't want to infect anyone here. Tonight he is picking up chicken feed at tractor supply because he is worried that they may end up closing.

My Dr messaged me a nasty gram because their app wouldn't let me cancel my appointment so he told me if I even dared step in the hospital he would find me I told him I don't dare go there. Not even a sniffle would make me go. I promised only if I had a temp or trouble breathing that I'd go to them. Considering I stayed home for over a week with sepsis and pneumonia with only a 81% oxygen reading, I think they know I'm serious. Bit me in the butt though later on when I needed high flow oxygen at 6 liters and wound up in ICU.

We live and we learn...

I just tried to watch the speech they just had, but I can't seem to focus because my nerves are shot.

I'm just glad we have eggs and chickens in the backyard plus ducks. If need be I'll stop being plant based and live off eggs. I have meat chickens brewing right now I'll be butchering in a few weeks. I will not allow my family to go without. Smartest idea I ever had was to start meat chickens and ducks.

Nope you misunderstand my intent. I pretty much agree with and understand everything that you have to say.

They just cancelled the National Land judging in OKC. I’m bummed out because I was on one of the two teams from our FFA chapter that got to go. Our two teams placed in the top 5 at state level with almost 20 teams competing. It was gonna be in May. I’m just sad and angry that we can’t go even though we have worked hard and fundraised for it.

I've actually been buying old ones. I saw one folded and stitched into a tiny doll's dress, using only a few stitches that can be easily removed. Now that I'm stuck at home for a couple of weeks, I may finally get a chance to figure out how to do it!

Conclusions that preclude the possibility of any other fact or outcome. Realistically we can spout all that we want about the present situation, but the fact remains that what we are dealing with is an uncharted situation. To continually spout information as fact is a perceived agenda.

This is soooooo important!!! We need to be open to information and honest about how we evaluate it so we can learn where our best advantage lies.
