When I worked as a plumber, I would use my torch to heat the lid. PVC, and ABS Glue, softens when heated.. be careful though... Glues are very flammable!

I'm waiting to see which ones/how many of my chickens end up being roosters. I want to keep a couple roos for the same reason.I love roosters and owning them. I think it's because I like hatching my own chicks. I also have a drake... He's a pain. He is a raging hormonal weirdohe listens like a dog though so he's not too bad.
Good to know, thank you! I don't know if there is a torch out in the shed, but I will check! When I worked as a plumber, I would use my torch to heat the lid. PVC, and ABS Glue, softens when heated.. be careful though... Glues are very flammable!
I incubate my duck eggs for meat and egg layersI'm waiting to see which ones/how many of my chickens end up being roosters. I want to keep a couple roos for the same reason.
I have 5 ducklings, and will rehome any drakes. I only want female ducks. I'm hoping all/most of the ducks are female.
I'd buy another firstGood to know, thank you! I don't know if there is a torch out in the shed, but I will check!
Get another don't torch itI think I found a solution to messy ducks and their water situation!
I picked up a washer drain pan, as well as some fittings to hook up to a garden hose. I am going to put the water jug in the pan, attach the hose, and run the hose outside, so when the ducks splash water out, it will drain to the outside.
I have to exchange the pvc cement that I got for the fittings, because the lid is cemented on. LOL
I'll post pics when I get it put together.
I agree...I'd buy another first
Leave the er for covid
As a former FF/EMT and emergency dispatcher, I agree.I agree...
I'd rather not go to the ER for something that you should be saying "Hold my beer" while doing![]()
