When this is over there will be two vital questions to answer in order to prepare for the next crisis.
a) why did people buy toilet paper in such large quantities? Was there some unreported effect of the Covid virus that loosened the bowls? There could be a partial explanation in that everyone living with any grasp of reality was constantly shitting themselves at the exponential growth of the virus (It's worth understanding exactly what exponential growth means) this could be remedied either, by sticking your head in the sand, or switching off your computer.
b) how bigger stock of toilet paper is needed and whether or not Fort Knox should be emptied of gold at the first sign of a crisis and refilled with bog roll, as some like to call toilet paper in the UK.
