I need more shavings I think we have 1 1/2 bags full but since I had my husband installed a poop board, our coop has been staying super clean. He loved the idea!

I just bought two bales of straw from a local farm. It will last 18-24 months, but I might need to share.

Has everybody else seen long lines to get into their grocery stores? I wanted to go to HEB this morning (Texas main grocery store) and the line was almost to the road, even at 9am. Why are people doing that?

Yes. Long lines in the morning when they're restocked has become the rule here. Some stores will only admit a limited number of people at a time. Happily, some stores are initiating an older person's hour in the morning before their regular opening.

I have been skipping the early hour shopping. I have less to choose from later in the day but it's calmer. Tomorrow I'm going to take advantage of the "elderly hour".

I'm one of those that doesn't have TV so I'm not sure what I should trust.

NPR, BBC, the networks CNN, ABC, NBC they are all pretty much unbiased. Your own state should have a website with current, reliable information.

Irony of trucks going directly to the stores. Your food is up to two months fresher. I was on the road with my husband for several years, and we picked up a load of shelf stable organic milk. The sell by date was three months away. When it arrives at the grocery store (we delivered to a Walmart distribution), it is down to one month.

Apparently they cleared out old expired stuff
Reports with pictures on local FB groups. Frozen pizza expired 2018 at one store and 2 month expired cheese at another.... I probably have eaten such stored in my freezer that long and didn't worry about it

I'm not sure I would agree those networks are unbiased. In fact I'd disagree adamantly.
