I'm so glad my little car runs on gas fumes and that I filled up in anticipation 2 weeks ago.

Mail- Usually I use my own shopping bags when I can, but keep a stash of typical grocery bags for use around the house... to line small waste baskets, cover shoes when painting, etc...
When I get the mail I put one over my hand, then turn everything to be inside the bag without touching it and once in the house it gets tossed to the floor (in an out of the way place) to wait for several days before I touch it again. Then I scrub my hands.

Just watched our governor speak, 219 cases today.. jumped 67 overnight. 😰😱😱
here is Boston we were 413 Friday and now 525 on Saturday
now 2 cases of deaths. 1 80 man and now a 50 y/o woman who had a ore-existing condition :(

Edit to say, I drive an EV - so I just Plug in at home ;)

If you have a Shed you could put it out there. Or in a sealed Bucket. I would rather not have anything that may be contaminated but then again I was in the health care field so I know how easily things get transferred when you don't think they did

3 deaths here in VA. It is very scary how the cases are climbing. Governor said it could be months of this. 😶

Omg this one is just too funny, have y'all ever seen the fast and furious?

Everything here is eerily quiet, too. There's a daycare center up the road a bit where, even on weekends, the playground generally resounds with children's laughter. It's been silent since Thursday. Our little side-road is the one locals take to avoid the traffic lights in town (we have all of TWO - one in each direction!) There's been one car all morning, and that belonged to a neighbor. Even the church is quiet today ... no services, so there's no one ringing the 200-year-old bell. It may seem pretty silly to some people, but of all the changes we've seen so far, that one really hits home for me.
Maryland is not under total shutdown ... yet ... but I have a feeling it's coming. Our county had its' first confirmed case, last night. And so it begins ... a lot closer to home, this time.
