I'm glad to see the tone of this thread has calmed down a bit in the last hour. Things seemed to be getting a bit tense there for a while. I just wanted to chime in and say that of course we are all stressed out. This is a big deal and it's going to be awhile before things get back to the old "normal." As for those of you who are so adverse to the news media, for yourself, your feelings are valid. However, when it leads you to rely on bits of this and that and hearsay, how can that be more trustworthy than any professional news program? If you don't like network news, then go to your local news, be it TV or newspapers. We need to focus on being supportive of each other in our community and to share our coping strategies as well. We all are more fortunate than many people who live in small apartments with no backyard chickens to tend. So remember, it could be worse. For those who haven't tried it yet, exercise programs are very helpful in maintaining physical and mental health. You can download exercise videos or like me, Amazon Prime is my personal shopper. LOL! Try really hard to establish a new daily routine especially if you have children. You parents know that your kids do better with a regular routine because it helps them to know what is expected. I'm not saying anything you don't already know, but it's times like this we sort of forget. So this is just a friendly reminder. And remember too, "self care" is essential now more than ever. Stay healthy everyone.
