Do you grow from seed?
The variety matters a great deal. There are so many great heirloom varieties.
I always grow early girl just because it is the first harvestable tomato but I also like Black Krim, Cherokee Purple, Pineapple, Yellow Oxheart and Mr. Stripey.

We just got issued a stay at home order. Not allowed to leave the state if we do it has to be a emergency. Then we have to quarantine for 14 days. Jail time no more than a year or $5000 fine if cought doing anything other than getting essential items, going to the hospital and things like that. Apperently people are not taking it seriously.

I keep seeds from year to year in original packaging and if kept cool and dry, they don't lose a lot of viability.
There are a lot of sources of good heirloom seed varieties.

Fort, since you're in my state too, what do you think the 'major' announcement the govenor is making at 2 is going to be? Possibly a stay at home order or something?
I know nothing about it I have no cable and I've seen nothing so you'll have to keep me updated what he says.
