Meanwhile in my neck of the woods, I've never seen so many dogs being walked before. Families who used to just let their dogs wander in the yard are actually going for walks now. So I guess dog walking/family walking is the thing to do now.

Interesting how those stats are kind of reversed from what I would expect, especially male v female. Would you say it's reflective of maybe who is out and about vs who is choosing to stay in, or...?

With drinks (coffee, tea) I do like them sweetened, but my aim is just barely sweet enough. Sugar can take a while to dissolve (especially since I use raw or demerara sugar) so if you stop at the point where you can barely taste it, and give it a few minutes, it should even itself out to a nice level that's there, but not overwhelming.

Brush your teeth earlier so it's more of an annoyance to snack at night.

Benefit of fruit is fiber and other natural vitamins/nutrients. I've been trying to snack on fruit instead of junk lately since I think a lot of us are stress cooking/eating.
Thanks for the tips!! These are all very helpful. Though I must admit I usually forget to brush at night  also it keeps me wide awake. I’ll have to start again though.

And that’s a good idea!!! Good point. We don’t have any fruit atm but I’ve been trying to eat veggies instead of junk. Not very satisfying lol

I might try some melon this year. Have cantaloupe, honey dew, and watermelon seeds. Also planted blueberries and grapes last year but idk if they’re still alive

Man am I up to my ears in Honeydew melons! :barnie

Thing is processed foods have more calories and you really have to think about how many calories you want to spend on it. You can certainly have it-at a price. :D

I do not think it is bad if you hold the service outside and maintain your 6 feet. I would be the one who fights them-right into jail! Because there is not really any rule for anyone who maintains their 6 feet whether on a sidewalk or in a parking lot. How many can they arrest if they throw you in the back of their car -and maintain 6 feet? Define gathering or group. It does not include anyone with 6 feet of space around them. I can see following the rules/reasoning , but I can't see Police ticketing people for being 6 feet apart. And there are no laws written for these guidelines anyway.
Yeah, that’s true and a good point but I honestly just don’t really eat that much processed food anyway. I used to but I’ve cut way back. It’s just keeping track seems like kind of a pain and I know I wouldn’t follow it.

It aint any worse then my soil.. And I grow all kinds of stuff. One thing I have learned it's hard plowing and tiling and doesn't grow heirloom beans well. But commercial beans do great. Last year I had enough to fill a 5gallon bucket adding all my harvests up for the year . Like I said my area was agriculture so I don't know how much the farmer improved the soil.

OH that's good!

I agree give me liberty or give me death. And I mean it.. Although I will maintain my 6ft distance for the sake of others, Especially elderly.
Oh wow that’s amazing!!! I’m glad you’re able to grow stuff! :D I think it depends too because sometimes I have stuff die for no apparent reason even though I have pretty “good” soil.

Maybe. I find it interesting as well. We don't have as many cases as I thought we'd end up with in general, plus the age demographic is different than a lot of other places. We'll see how it shakes out, we're supposed to peak within a couple of weeks from what I read.

Yeah I have to admit I'm surprised that my state's numbers haven't swelled as much as predicted (granted, there's still a shortage of tests). Part of it is the WA started putting in restrictions earlier on than many other states, but a lot of states that got their first cases quite a bit later are really surging ahead. I was chatting with friends in NYC and Detroit last night, and of course those are two areas that are really being hit hard.

:eek:You forget to brush at night? Do you still have teeth?

I admit I've never really liked eating fruit, especially straight up (fruit cooked or otherwise prepared, like in desserts, salads, baked goods, I love) but definitely been eating a lot more of it lately. I know if I don't do anything about my sweet tooth, I'll eat too much stuff I shouldn't be eating.

I transplanted a ton of herbs today. My youngest bought me this bag at Dollar tree and it works perfect as a pot 😍 you can get quite crafty during this lockdown.

I'm going to try the feed bag too. I have one saved to use.
