I heard someone at the store saying exactly this. She & hubs work full time still, she was caught off guard by all of this and they have 3 kids and her MIL at home. They're having to shop on weekends and the MIL tries to get stuff during the week they couldn't find.
My BIL delivers propane and he said he stops at stores after he delivers to check what's in stock so he can't get a little here and a little there. He said it's working for him so far.

Where I live there's 3 grocery stores to choose from, but most are out of the same things.

Oh! Have anyone here ever grew radishes? They are the food of gods! They have potassium, vitamins, calcium, and other fancy words. And they grow to full size after a month. even if you grow them for six months (plant seeds monthy), you got six months worth of radishes. They can be picky but give them a lot of water and good soil, then they grow like crazy.
We grow our radishes on rich almost black soil where we live, add horse pooh, and limestone powder to control the acidity from the pooh and bam, a lot of radishes. Wash well and serve in vinegar for more taste!

You can do pickled radishes too

Start planting!!!!
I have a lot of stuff started but we usually can’t plant until after Memorial Day here 😭 although this year is a super early spring so I might be able to. I started my onions and lettuce today. Started peppers, tomatoes, and eggplants yesterday. Probably way too late but if so I’ll buy some started plants. I usually start the seeds a lot sooner. This is the latest I’ve ever done it. Also doing potatoes, carrots, beets, peas, green beans, etc. doing like 5 different kinds of tomatoes, 5 kinds of peppers, 2 eggplants, like 4 kinds of potatoes, a ton of different onions, etc. 😂
