People would be shocked what a serving size is if they started looking at the label.
I’ve read them before but usually don’t follow it. should probably start.

Though I always figured it was more of a suggestion. ;)
or that they had to split it up because if people found out a can of soup had like 2000 mg of salt in it or Oreos had however much sugar or fat, they’d never eat as much or buy it. ;)

Canned soup like progresso has 2400 in one serving... That's more than the recommended amount for an average person. Everything has sodium even veggies so it's not good to eat canned or processed stuff unless it says No Salt Added.

See!? Suggestion. ;) :lau

I don’t think relying on your hunger level is a good idea though.... 😂🙈

After NY and NJ, Michigan has the highest number of Covid cases. They're also very high in the death/M category. The Governor is probably doing the best she can when the federal government has singled her -- and the citizens of her state -- for personal abuse and a refusal of support.

I would imagine she's continuing to let those stores be open for essential needs but trying to make it unproductive for people to be out shopping for non-essentials.

I've read that NJ has some similar restrictions - they've had big box stores remove/restrict access to "non essential goods" but my issue is how random the restrictions seem to be. I can understand you don't want people browsing clothing in a store, but clothes ARE essential. And in the article that was posted, a guy mentioned he was doing house repairs but now can't buy paint to finish the repairs - the paint is essential because otherwise the repaired wall is now left exposed. Just seems they chose to restrict things without fully thinking through the restrictions. I'll have to ask my friend in Detroit what restrictions she's seen, next time she's available to chit chat.

Oh wow I need to move there 😂😂

Good luck affording it!
