Little bitty fins, but fins just the same!
This wasn't mine ( I could wish!) But it's a great pic of what mine was supposed to look like! It also came in a convertible - which mine was not. The 58-60 birds were four-seaters. The original T-Birds - 55-57 were the snazzy little two-seater convertibles. My then-boyfriend had a 56 he found in a barn when his parents bought their farm. He restored it all by hand and it was truly a thing of beauty. That's how I ended up with the '59. It was going to be our next restoration party ... but you know how those things go, sometimes ...

That may be the one I'm thinking of, if the fins meet in the middle in back. Think of it in turquoise ....

With us, it's tape measures ...

I must have about 8 tape measures, most I can locate are 3.

Same problem here. So I buy the multi-packs and purposely stash them around the house. Each room has it's own tape measure as does the car (2 actually) front porch, the shed, the barn, and 2 minis in my purse.
I'm always measuring something or have radar ears when the person next to me in a store says out loud to themselves...I wonder how wide this is??

This is what the rear looked like ... Ain't that sweet?!

And this was the incredible turquoise (aqua) color. My "baby" only had it in the interior - but there was a LOT of aqua in there! She could have been SO purty. I hope that somewhere, today, she still is!

My spread out hand is 8" wide. I carry it with me.

So you're the odd person I saw the other day trying to measure long boards with her hands?? I offered you my measuring tape....

Truth be told, if it's large and I have the ability to, I can pace out some pretty precise measurements. Having short little legs does have it's perks occasionally. Not when you need something off the top shelf.......but once in a while.
