No problem - my response was triggered by the gutter portion of my mind; hence, inappropriate for this thread. Freedom for sure as long as it does not impinge on the well being of others. My one greatest dislike of human nature is those who blunder through life as if their actions have no impact on others.

We are overrun with eggs 😂🤣:th

We have zucchini up the wazoo! Dear neighbor found a recipe for 'Mock apple pie' online, using zucchini, and says it's delicious! Must try it very soon...

Ours isn’t producing very much :( maybe it’s still early. Planted it pretty late so it took a long time growing the foliage to size haha Although now it’s starting the rot thing a tiny bit before we even get any 😭

Rot can be a lot of things, but in zucchini, it's usually just too much moisture trapped under the foliage. If you can prop some up or thin out a bit, that may help. The idea is to get some air flowing. When I was a kid, Mom used to prop hers up with lawn chairs - the old-fashioned webbed ones. Some of the neighbors thought she sat in them to scare off kids and critters. We let 'em ... they all thought we were a bit crazy anyway!

Thank you!! That’s an amazing idea!! Gonna try this haha

The Princess and I discussed this, and the conclusion was that if we had school aged kids one of us would have to stay home and homeschool them. If one of us was a teacher we would have to seek other employment. Sad. I have the greatest empathy for teachers, people in the restaurant or hospitality business, nurses, doctors, EMTS, police, firemen, and the list goes on and on. I can only wonder what winter is going to bring.
My close friend is a substitute teacher, but I don’t think schools are opening here. They are doing it all online. So she will be able to teach from anywhere

We were discussing this the other day on another thread and one person said they had it at a friends house and it was delicious, however did not know ahead of time it was zucchini. When she tried to make it, she thought it was just ok.
I've contemplated making mock apple crumble but my brain keeps saying...no. It will taste like zucchini.
If you try it let us know how it turns out!
