Likely there is a rush on these due to the fires and smoke like there was/is for masks and gloves and someone is going to make a huge profit on others misfortune.

Fortunately I am not near the fires and was just researching for future reference if mine dies... plus mine has expensive filters

Oh no! Did you go through the Holmes website? The model @SnapdragonQ mentioned (HAP9415-UAH-2) looks to be still in stock on the Holmes website. I was surprised they were offering them for $29 when Walmart sells them for $63, especially when the need is very high right now with wildfires, allergies, etc. and companies usually mark essential products up during crises. It looks like replacement filters are $20-30. Hope you are able to find one.

That's the one that came up for me too. When I search by HAP9415-UAH-2 only the mini one comes up.

I have a 30 yr old honeywell
Takes 3 HEPA filters that were 20 a piece 5 yrs ago

Duh... I ordered the mini one LOL. I was in such a panic to get one since the air here is getting worse by the hour that I ordered too quickly. We have a sick chick in our sunroom that is covered in ash and the air quality isn't helping her. I got the mini, although I'm sure it will be better than nothing. I'll just need to port it around to whatever room we happen to be sitting in. Sorry about that!
