Time will tell on that one, they are looking at it, whether they'll ever come to a valid quantifiable conclusion also remains to be seen.
Yes since a couple people who had positive tests in the spring, got it again in the fall.... which possible could be the vaccine issue also. We might be getting this shot every 6 months

Prepping for snow this afternoon ... first of the season and, if the weather gurus are correct, the first "real" snow we've had in two years. I don't know whether to be irritated or excited. Either way, the heated waterers are in place and everyone has extra bedding ... including the people. The generator is cleared and primed. We didn't need a "milk/bread/toilet paper" run, one good thing about the looming shut-down, I guess. We have all the makings for cocoa, mulled cider and chocolate chip cookies and the tree is ready for decorating ... so Bring it On Ol' Man Winter. We're ready!
I just shared a radar screenshot over in Kiki's BBBB Bashing thru the snow thread....

Yeah, your about to get it!

DD went out to brush off the car (to keep ahead of the big stuff) and started screaming. I ran to the door expecting the worst, only to be met with a flying snowball ... after which she screamed again, "It's SNOWBALL snow!" To the uninitiated, that means that it's "packing snow," not the dusty, blow-away-in-the-wind stuff we've been getting for the past couple of years. This stuff is great for snowmen and snow forts and snowball fights. I shall reiterate my previous statement ...
BRING IT ON! :ya

Well, y'know, everyone has their own way of hunting snipe. It may have something to do with the native habitat. We were surrounded by cornfields and overgrown field cover, so the burlap worked for us. I hear others had better luck with a wooden barrel, but there are all sorts of methods. I guess we can't really knock 'em 'til we've tried them all. Anybody up for some snipe hunt research?
I vaguely remember something about a wooden spoon and a saucepan ....

{{{ sigh }}} Our snow event is over, at least for now. We have roughly 3 of the projected 6 inches, but it's now all rain. It's turning our lovely snow into a nasty, heavy, immovable slush. By morning it will likely be an inch and a half of solid ice. That is unless we get the extra inch or so of snow on top of it, as some of the weather monsters are speculating. Now doesn't THAT sound like fun?
Nope.
