Anyone have any ideas what to do with all these masks after Covid is done?
I'm not certain that it will ever be done. It's a coronavirus - just like the common cold it is constantly mutating. All that I know is that I have not had so much as a cold in the past 19 months. (Probably just jinxed myself.) I may be masking for the rest of my life in crowded, indoor situations.

Anyone have any ideas what to do with all these masks after Covid is done? I made lots of masks for my wedding with the intention on my guests taking some. They didnt and I now have 80 something masks that I'm not using. I keep one in my car in case I go somewhere where they require them but I have way too many. I figure I'll keep a few to show my kids in the future and tell them what it was like.
Keep for next pandemic

I had a cold but only because my stupid boss came into work sick. Literally coughed in his hand and then touched everything in my workspace. I sanitized everything but still caught it. Luckily my immune system is strong and I only was sick for a day or two

I keep it right by the door so I remember to grab a clean one before I leave the house. Again...waaaay more than I need.

I use N95 masks, and also use them for coop cleaning type chores. And I agree that the last year with no colds has been a good thing coming out of this. The people overseas who routinely wear face masks in public have had the right idea all along!

I use a respirator when I spray to prevent mites and fleas. Much safer than using a flimsy cloth mask. Other than that I don't use a mask when cleaning.

I've been washing and reusing masks for awhile now. I'm off to buy some new ones today. I did not use mask prior to covid when I cleaned my chicken coop. But now, I always mask up. I got a little bit of a sore throat recently and I immediately suspected it was a reaction to my new COPD medication. Where would I have come into contact with cold germs? It was actually a bit of a sinus thing. But that's all the "illness" I've had since before the pandemic.
