I agree but if you live in the middle of no where it does make it more difficult. The key is to live where you are able to take care of your needs.

Or take care of your needs via alternate means. But it's ok if we disagree.

That must be hard. You must see a lot of situations like that.

It was hard. Which is why I no longer work in that industry. You would see clients never getting visitors and if they did it was only a short visit. One of them only got one visitor a year...on Christmas. And she always just bought her ill fitting pajamas. She never attempted to talk with her at all. She'd just drop off the gift, say hi and then leave

It was actually a pretty sweet job. Got to sit and watch cable and get paid for it in the evening shifts. 16 bucks an hour, paid time off, paid sick leave, 401k, health and dental insurance. 10 years gets you public service so no student loan debt. Also gets you guaranteed retirement. And they'd compensate you for when you took them places. So free movies, get in fairs and museums for free. Lotta perks. But someone like me...I love too much. It was too much for me emotionally (not to mention all the drama between staff). I'd do it again in a heartbeat but maybe not to the extent I was.

I agree about the vaccines. (I would be sceptical about Gates. We ignore Doctors with contrary views but fawn over Billionairs.)

True but like the lady that left this thread, can’t remember her name, she had so many challenges living in such a small town. The dollar store constantly had their aisle s block.

I miss her too. I really hope she comes back. And I really hope she can get back on public transit again. I haven't been watching the news because it just makes me angry now. Oh look another shooting in Chicago...and covid subvarients...and look at the crazy thing we found on tic tok
