Not saying everyone does but a lot of people do some pretty stupid stuff when they're scared, drunk or just stupid...or some combination of the three. Ask any paramedic and they'll tell you a few stories. I personally got by with just bed rest, colloidal silver and vitamin c and d.

I spent three days in bed with 102° fever, just drank water and homemade bone broth. No appetite. No meds. Then I was just tired and weak for a week or so.

Very true, seen alot in the fire department. Very common was getting to a house and the patient is already in the open doorway dressed up, hair done smells like they just got out the shower with thier to go bag. Knowing if they went by ambulance they would go straight to the back in the E.R. instead of having to wait like everyone else

I have a client who is a paramedic. She's seen that. Also got a call to pick up a minor. Got there and the kid had a sore thumb and wanted to go by ambulance. The mom was also there. Then the kid was taking selfies in the ambulance and trying to post it to social media. The medic wouldn't let her.

She hates that they are required to transport these people. They can't refuse transport. Someone could be dying from a serious injury or a heart attack while these people are using the resources.

My ACLS instructor told of one of their 'frequent flyers' would call every month to report chest pains. When they got to the ED he would feel better and walk over to get a hair cut.

I held onto the box that my doctor prescribed for about a year. But, then I finally pitched it. I'm afraid I can't help you. I'm pretty sure mine came in a box of blister packs. After the 2nd dose I was much improved.

Covid, doctor prescribed ivermectin. I saw the doctor in her private practice. She also worked at the VA where they threatened to fire her after she successfully treated people who had covid with ivermectin.

That happened to at least one dr here too. The employer threatened termination for anything to do with ivermectin - not just treating with it but even mention of it. After many successes with it.

I think a lot of that is cya because it would be off script for what it's normally prescribed for. No covid controlled testing/studies done with it.
I was just watching something on PBS and they were talking about the need for studying existing drugs, but no money for the studies. Big pharma has the money for the testing and pay more to the Drs than little places.

Another issue with the for profit healthcare system.

My doctor rejected this theory. She said off-label use is reasonably common place and acceptable. This was specifically an attack on ivermectin. But you are right in that it is driven by the nature of the healthcare system. The vaccine manufacturers would not be shielded by liability without a declared medical emergency. The medical emergency could not be declared if existing medications could meet the needs. This is also why the medical emergency was only lifted after the shots got added to the routine childhood vaccine recommendations. That gave the manufactures the perpetual liability shield.

I don't call this a problem with 'for profit' healthcare. I call it a problem with corporate controlled government agencies having the power to pick and control which companies win and lose. The sellers of ivermectin could have made the profit, but they were not picked by the government controlling agencies.
