i'v sold birds to guyas starting out training their dogs... they all gave me returns and all were very satisfied with the results. i;v even hunted over a dog that was trained off of my coturnix. fantastic dog. and no we werent hunting my coturnix, pheasants. anyway. i do think you can breed a "wilder" type of coturnix as well. i'v seen it. heck i'v done it. they do flush/fly much better than a jumbo or older bird. but hey believe what you will.

I BELIEVE WHAT I KNOW FROM 1ST HAND LEARNED EXPERIENCE ~ WORKING KNOWLEDGE GAINED FROM ACTUALLY DOING IT.
