Sounds like a really good deal for that price of organic mash! Wow. What's the protein amount? Any organic feed here seems to always start at 40 bucks and up for any kind of organic feed.$18.75/50 lbs for organic soy-free mash & $13.45 for 4 way 9% organic scratch.
I get it from an Amish Farmer that is a Fertrell Mineral dealer. Fertrell is from Bainbridge, PA and you can look at their website to see if anyone deals with their minerals in your area and maybe you can find someone grinding feed from there. This farmer has been doing soy feed for several years, but just started soy-free 2 years ago. The only other soy-free feed I know of is from Organic Unlimited in Atglen Chester County. They have pelleted soy-free. Their website is www.organicfeedmill.com , but I don't think they have any distributors out your way. I also know that there is a soy-free egg farm near Pittsburgh, Green Circle Farm I think. Maybe they can point you in the right direction if you are near there. Do a search for soy-free eggs or feed and maybe something else will come up. Hope this helps.I'm on the other side of Pa... Wondering where you get the soy free feed from?

It is a good deal, but it actually comes in 80 lb. bags, I translated it to 50 lbs.!! The layer is 16% and is $30/80lbs. The girls love it and they are starting to lay well. They are only 24 weeks old.Sounds like a really good deal for that price of organic mash! Wow. What's the protein amount?
