yeah that's it lol (just looked)..... 24% protien in starter (in the brand i use), and only 15% protien in my adult "grower/finisher". I suppliment though so if you suppliment and don't feed starter i assume it could be the same as feeding starter if that makes sense.

Right, because they still need a high level of protein right? So just leaving them on starter would be okay? I actually feed my adults flock raiser, which has I think 20% protein, so this is okay for them, or do they need more protein?

I think they need more, 26% is in my head for some reason, that's why i suppliment with protien sources whenI can because im really not sure of the exact amount needed i read so many differeing views on that.

One more question, the coturnix grow till they are 12 weeks right? So wouldn't it be better to keep them on high protein starter till at least then?

Sorry, nother one

I was checking my goldfish pellet food, and it says it has 36% protein. Since I can't get mealworms and stuff now, but I can buy the really big thing of goldfish pellets, would it be okay to mis that with their food? It's about the same size as the crumbles, so that's why I was thinking. I don't think there is anything in it that they shouldn't have.

I wouldnt see why not on both, you have a valid point there. What makes me switch when they lay or turn 8 weeks old is because i read somewhere that that's a good rule of thumb. All I know is what Cindy mentioned and I noticed as well that they still grow up to 12 weeks old. It's amazing the differences in sizes between my young adult jumbos and young adult pharoahs compaired to their older adult jumbos and adult pharoahs.

lol the pic of the bob birds they have looks like a tibetan, and another tebetan waith white markings lol, the red tuxedo seems kinda legit tho from looking at the picture and i dont get what a red golden is lol, only thing im wondering is im positive their pic for itailians is a golden range if i order itailians am i getting italians or golden ranges lol

wait what if bob-birds are like a tennesse red quail x cortunix cross or sumthin, cuz arent tennesse reds like not 100% bobwhite or sumthin? idk im just asking cuz that would make sense looking at the pic

They aren't old enough to do that yet Dalton, they will soon enough! The crowing is very annoying!! Other than that, they make cricket type sounds.
