Cough and lethargy? 🥺

Hey all, one of my young Orpington hens started having a weird cough today and has been rather lethargic. Her couch sounds like a rubber chicken or that big blue bird from the Pixar short (I can’t post a video) She has no runny nose and has been eating and drinking fine. She also breathes a little deeper than usual if that makes sense. I’m calling the vet tonight to ask for a water soluble antibiotic but I also want to hear from the community.

also, please let me know your guys best PREVENTATIVE care for anything and everything. We already have apple cider vinegar with the mother and vetrx.

How's your chicken? Sounds like it may of had something stuck in it's throat? It usually resolves in a day or so.
