Could my turkey have blac

It appears that your tom has been in a snood pulling contest. It is turkey breeding season and it is very common for the toms to get injured and scarred during their fights which mainly consist of head and snood grabbing while they each try to get the other to submit.
My toms are separated ... one has black spots all over its neck which has gotten better since I put cayenne in there water about a week ago for fear of blackhead . He still isn’t strutting but my Slate is ... weird ! Idk maybe it’s mosquitos or biting flies causing it

It depends on how well you have your toms separated. If they are separated by a see through fence, they can and will fight through the fence.

I believe that it was Sand Hill Preservation Center that lost a lot of their turkeys to black gnats.
