It is a lot of drama... from my perspective I own and love and show American Gamefowl. There is so much misinformation about the breed and it makes me angry when assumptions threaten to ruin all the recognition of the breed as more than "fighting chickens" that we have worked so long and hard for. I would rather approach it from the perspective of teaching anyone interested about the breeds finer points... but it gets so frustrating to see the same misconceptions day after day treated like fact
