Well for the first time since getting my babies I had a flash back/panic attack tonight. It was pretty severe. I picked up Quackers and he sat still the entire time, letting me pet him. Granted, I picked him up at the end of my episode when I was a bit more stable, but he seemed to understand what was going on. Or maybe he was just scared. Either way, it really helped me calm down and I "woke up" from my episode a lot quicker than before.

Me too, he was so helpful for me. They're still scared in their brooder but as soon as they're out they're curious lil buggers and all over ma. I have the scars to prove it! xD

You can use one of the Dremel things for dogs and cats too I use one to trim one of my Cochin bantam hens whose beak gets over grown. I just wrap her in a towel If I have to do anything to any of my birds they get wrapped in a towel then placed on their backs if I am going to work on their feet. Just pull the legs out from inside the towel.
