I got my shipping confirmation this morning! So excited....I've got pine chips in the brooder with paper towels on top of that...the food is filled up, waiting for the water until I get the call. I'm planning to bring a blanket to wrap the box in....I'm so excited! Thank you all for sticking it out with me, shouldn't be much longer....
So I'm sure in twenty four hours its going to turn into a "what is this?" Thread lol I am soooo looking forward to the mystery lot, but who am I kidding? I'm not going to know any of them right away!![]()
Mine sit on my porch when I am inside. if I shut the door the peck on the glass lol. If I dont answer they start talking and then they get on th eroof and I can hear them trampling back and forth. They hate it when you leave them, they make you feel special lol. These are my second children , my human kids are too busy with friends and all that to have time for their momI spend almost 100% of my free time with them after work. Unless the weather is bad. Weekends I'm out there at least 4 hours if not more. They all run to me, but the turkeys will fly to me. Every time I go back to the house they run as fast as they can and try to convince me to stay. They'll peer in at us through the windows. It's really special.
My tattoo is 3 stars. I got it when I was 16 and it really has no meaning other than I like stars![]()

Oh the roof.. Yes.. They love to play on the roof! I was shocked with how well they were with flying. They were taking off and flying like crazy at 10 days old!
I agree so many birds.. I am building a larger coop next spring but leaving the original for a grow out/ breeding/hospital unit... I havent decided which one unless I split it up into sections...Do you guys clip wings?
