Hey folks--let's put an end to the vent patting feedback--
Cousin It squats low to the ground for long periods of time, as if a rooster is approaching to mate. He or she, whatever 'it' is, does without food and water for long periods of time. The vent patting makes "it'" think it has mated, and it ruffles its feathers and goes on its way. And it will begin eating and acting normal.
I am trying to have it not starve to death by laying in a squatting position for long periods of time. Waiting and waiting to mate.
Ok? Let's be done with it. Sorry I ever wrote.
I am an established breeder and blue ribbon "rosette" winner. Sell 20 dozen or more eggs a week. Amen.
