Cracked eggs :(

HI all,


I hope you can help me with this, One of my chickens, a Bufforpington, lays eggs that are always cracked when I gather them, my chickens don't eat eggs

they probably are not cracked when she lays them. She, or another hen, most likely steps on them exiting or entering the egg box. I suggest putting more fluff, or whatever you put in the boxes, so the eggs will have more cushion if they get stepped on.
Also, if the shells are weak, add calcium to their food. Like mashed up egg shells or oyster shells.
