Does anyone knnow if air temp. affects candy making? We made some cany on Wed. and none of it turned out right, it's still edible but not how it should be. It was about 29*, without windchill.
Years ago, when I was on a Divinity making kick, it never turned out right if it was rainy or humid outside so I would say yes, it does make a difference. I think I might make those chicken wire baskets again next year too Monica, need a roll of chicken wire and I will make them as big as the one I use for potatoes and onions, maybe cut a cardboard circle to put inside the bottome for support and fill with canned goods. Def. making those fleece throws too..those are top on my list!!
