Crafters- What are you making???

I love the board!

Pot holders are on my list for next year too.

One thing a month sounds doable, good idea!

I might have a chicken pattern, I'll look. I know I have a duck pattern.

Good idea about changing the name of the thread. I like- Crafters, What are you making?

What did the What's for supper Grandpa- get changed to? I can't find a new thread, only the one to save the recipes that were on it. I already spent hrs. saving them to my computer.

oh good!!! Girls you're awesome for thinking of it, and Mods you're awesome for changing it!! That will help me stay up on making things for Christmas throughout the year! I was just thinking of appealing to my peeps on this board to help kick me in the rear to keep me making more things. I just didn't get that many done this year!

Plexi. keeps it clean and the pieces slide around easily - the kids just dragged it upstairs to play.
The pieces seem to be painted with somethng to keep clean, doesn't feel like anything but the aida is shiny.

You're welcome.

Thank you soooo much!!! This really is one of my favorite threads on the forum and now the sharing about ideas can continue all year long!!! I have plenty of elt now for the chicken pincushions, although I did once again forget the stuffing stuff but Wild is probably smarter about the rice idea and I will likely just try that. Also got a long ruler today to cut some fleece squares..yes I am extremely compulsive and work on something ALL the time! I also succumb to peer pressure easily too so when Lori gets started on those potholders I know I will have to make some too, lol!!! The pattern book I have is that chicken potholder they sell so many of on etsy, sort of round looking. There is one free chicken potholder pattern I have seen online that is different though. I would imagine between all of us we can come up with the pattern for most anything, lol!!

I figured your MIL had to have covered that beautiful cross stitch with something and that would ake sense a thin sheet of plexi. Really nice work on that, bet it took her months. I did Rainbow Row once..the Charleston waterfront row with the colorful houses, very huge and took me months but beautiful, gave it for a wedding gift and someone tried to buy it off them for over a hundred dollars nearly 20 years ago! That cross stitch is pretty but so detailed and time consuming I havent done any in alot of years. Tell her we think it's beautiful

She made us one when we got married as well - its hanging on the wall here in the living room.
We also have the one she made for my DH grandparents 50th wedding anniversary, they used to live here in this house and it was still hanging on the wall when we moved in - so its still up!

Well, now when did the name get changed? I am so thrilled!

I honestly thought this thread would be deleted! I am so glad it is still here. There is so much info on this thread that it would be a shame to delete it now wouldn't it?

lol yeah, no delete this! Especially since I just got the pictures taken of my newest crafty thing! lol I'll post it here in a lil while.

oh and it looks and feels soooo much better now that it's all washed and dried. lol
Isn't this just pure torture, you hear about something new, then get teased by it....and yet, you havent a clue still...hehehe
