Ya'll have been busy this year! I'm already planning for next year. I did not get to do very many HM items this year due to DH's back troubles and my having to pick up so much of the slack around here. But next year, look out! My crochet hooks will be smokin' as well as whatever else I decide to come up with! I'm looking foward to all of ya'll inspirations
Oh! I did manage to get the kids' scarves made. I'll post pics in a bit when I get them downloaded.
Whoever suggested the do it yourself omlet baskets....THANKS! I made them for a little family gift exchange and they were a big hit. I included bacon,, mushrooms, cheese and fresh eggs in a basket with a card that had a chicken on it. It was all situated in tissue paper and then the whole thing wrapped in net with a big bow on it.
I kinda found a pattern. It isn't complete because I had cut it out for the butterfly pattern on back. It is stencil designs for painting on potholders. The roo is just missing the feet and the hens are just missing their heads. If anyone is interested, I will post them. It shouldn't be hard to add the parts needed.
When DGD and I were filling DH's shooting bags, a lightbulb went on. I wondered if I could use the crushed walnut shells that I use for his bags, as filling for pin cushions? I would think that the shells would help keep the pins/needles sharp. What do you think? I always have at least one bag of them around.
While looking for the potholder pattern, I found other patterns that I forgot I had. Thanks for getting off my butt.
Here's my new crafty thing! Only took 2 hours to do. Bought different measured fabric, of similar size, and layed out on top of each other.
Awful proud of myself I must admit. lol
hehe Hiyas no chicks. Nice ta meetcha...hehehehe just kidding. Thankies on my lil blanket. The kids claim it as thiers. I still havent decided if I want it for me, or if I'll share it with them.
Hey, someone tell me how messy this would be if I had my helpers help me...lol
