I sew some things for my daughter...not much in the way of clothes for my son. I mostly make the summer clothes for her, not many winter...and I convert jeans to jeans skirts for her so they are modest and super cute.
I do the same for me when I have a chance...
I love turning jeans into skirts for our girls, better yet I like turning them into quilts.
I don't have any children yet, but I have made myself a few dresses. I made a dress for my sister-in-law to wear to her graduation (she didn't tell anyone she needed one until the last minute and we were unsuccessful finding a white dress in her size, so I made her one). I just made a bib for my nephew the other day, if that counts!
I used to sew for my DD's, the cost of patterns and material has gotten so much more expensive now, so I don't sew for my DGD. If I happen to get material for a good price I do, I also do make things from old jeans.
ozark hen---you need to go by post # because the page #'s for everyone is not the same. Take for example ( you said pg. 99 and i only have 57 pages total) Just a thought to pass along.
I was working on a quilt block for the swap but now I am done and on here seeing what everyone else is doing.
