HELP
I have a ladies banquet coming in March...the 1st week-end.
The theme is "Pearl of Great Price"
My goal is to have a large single pearl in the front area....more if I can figure it out.

I thought of a styrofoam ball...covered with something...can't figure out what....HELP>>>>
or any other ideas????

Update* came across wood balls the size I need. Now, I have another question. I see only a small amount of pearl paint products....has anyone seen these? Tried them? Which ones give that sheen? The "pearlized" effect?

Cover it with gesso. That will seal the roughness of the syrofoam and give it a smooth finish and get some of that pearly looking craft paint. Be sure to let the gesso dry well.​

Have you looked at spray paint?​

I've used that pearl paint. It works well but to get the full effect you need to apply 2 or 3 coats.

I vote gesso and pearl craft paint. OOOOOORRRR if you really want to put some time into it, you could use some of that foil relief stuff in the pearlized sheen as opposed to the silver or gold....but that's a lot more work.

It's a white primer. IN the craft section. Can't miss it. It will say that on the bottle.​
