I saw a show on DIY the other night that used recycled glass for garden mulch. It was blue and green and was reminiscent of the ocean.


I would like to make a weighted blanket, kind of going off of the concept of the heated rice bag. Does anyone know what I can put in it that won't expand when it gets wet(ie spills)?

The blanket won't need to be heated. Just weighted and expand proof.

im getting overloaded whit bird houses and craft project i think im gonna try getting rid of some i make to much... need storage
i tried giving the Christmas wreaths i made and other project but nobody want them lol
its funny how everyone say its gorgeous but they all have a reason not to take one
maybe i should start a museum in the garage

Some of ya have seen this on the crochet thread but I wanted to share with the rest of the crafters.

Got me a new camera. My other one was under warranty and WalMart took it back so I upgraded to a nice one for a few $ more. I love this one. Any way I didn't want to spend a bunch on a case so I made this one. Of course I can's show you how the camera fits in there but you get the idea. I just put the staps out the sides of the bag and it just covers the camera. It's one that goes around the neck. I figured this would be easy to unhook with my little button on the bottom but keep it protected. I thought about putting little flowers on it but I have to find a pattern for some small ones. Hubby is never going to carry the camera.

they r suppost to be pulling fabric sections from most of the walmarts all over the country. we will not be looseing ours due to amish here. between them and us buying so much fabrics our closest 2 stores sell enough to keep ours open at least for now...​

Scrambled....you'll never guess what 'we' are fixin to do..

I had been telling the Rev. my idea of the pearl...and wish list on the hands...looked online found jewelers...which I've purchased for the centerpiece....but I wanted one at each table too....
the Rev. said he had an idea...
soooo.....with dishwashing gloves (those big yellow ones)(to form the mold) and some kind of putty he works with we are going to try to shape forms of hands...and then paint them....

hoping to try the first one this evening....

He got volunteered into helping someone move tomorrow.
Sooo here's my chance...
will take pictures and post as soon as we see....Oh, say a prayer for me...

I want this to work so badly.
Bought the one for the centerpiece for $8 Going today to purchase the "pearls"...

Also, working on our Valentine Banquet centerpieces too... got the tables organized and the tablecloths ironed yesterday. I have threatened everyone if they go in there!
