Well, I've been good this year

Can I get on your gift list! LOL I could use a good walkin stick

I'm trying to get some cross stitching and quilting done. Maybe I'll knit some hats for my little cousins. Still a lot of gifts undecided thus far.

Most of the people on my list really need a swift kick in the arse

But those are hard to gift wrap!

Darlene, I can crochet also, had to get that off my chest lol I saw your swap and felt guilty for holding it in! lol! but I just don't have the time to invest in a swap right now. Are we talking only one square, or is it the whole blanket, scarf etc? I may be able to do one square if it's the case. I guess I should go and read the first page and then I would know lol!​

OHHHHHH!!!! Glad you told me that Liz, I have thought on and off all day about where I would find a fluted oven proof bowl!!!LOL!!!! I have some metal ones that will do great. One day this week I'll get to the goodwill or habitat and look for a few albums..bet that doesnt smell too good baking so I'll pick a day when it isnt a million degrees and can leave the window open!!! I love the idea, soooooo cool!! I bet I could fill it with round soaps and music related items and it would be cute that way too!!..DEFINATELY stealing that idea!!!!!!

DGD and I made ice cube candles today, now she wants to make them for Christmas presents. I guess I better start saving whipping cream cartons.

When I was a kid my mom made the recprd bowls with her cub scout den, I've always loved them.

Yesterday I found the record albums in Goodwill for 99cents each and bought 5 so I will try that as soon as I get a chance..excited about that!! I think an entire music theme, like a music cd...I will cut the album cover up to make a card..I bet my daughter will snatch these up for her own "friend" gifts...good thing they had more albums!! The won't be real big when fluted so it wont take much to fill them, then maybe sit the whole thing in a cellophane gift bag and tie with alot of ribbon. Should be sooo original..well ALMOST...not quite since I stole it from here, but clever anyway!!

Any other crazy cool easy to make ideas??!! That one is obviously a huge hit!!

well most people this year for yule gifts. (christmas) we call it that when my mother is here cause she refuses to believe I'm a pagan. Anyway I digress.
I am making up the jars with the cookie ingredients in them .Those went over big last year. I also have high hopes in learning how to bake bread. I am knitting a blanket for new grandchild as soon as I find out what it is going to be. And I am going to make a blanket for 2yr old GD's doll.And some people are going to get one of my paintings.

hahaha you said hit. ya know like hit record...sorry I know that was pretty lame but I couldn't resist!!! Well It looks like to me that I will be doing this project for Christmas gifts as well! It's just too flippin easy and cute!!! I don't think my parents will like them though. I think they would be offended if I melted a record and gave it to them as a gift lol They had an exstensive record collection when I was younger, and still have it boxed up somewhere. It would be like handing a slaughtered animal to a vegetarian​
