Actually, by the time mom passed we were almost the same size. I have a lot of her clothes. This last weekend was DGD's first REAL visitation with her mother. All of the outer clothes I wore all three days were mom's. It made me feel a little better. I wear her robes and jammies almost all the time(DH says they make me look like an old lady), but it makes me feel good and they are comfy. I have her scarves and purfume. I spray her purfume on my wrists and anytime I start to feel low, I take a whiff and I feel better.
I have about fifty counted cross stich packages most that are not even opened to do. I don't really like 'counted' cross stich, but I will do them because they were hers. DD took a lot home with her after her visit after she returned from Afghanistan. Unfortunately, she did not make it back in time to see her grammie before she passed. So she lost both my parents while she was over there. She returned stateside on the day of mom's memorial services, so she could not make that either. She is back home in KY. with all her kids.
Any one here do counted cross stich? It has been many, many years since I have done it. I may need some tips.
