Do you ever sell the stuff you make? I would totally buy a pair or two closer to winter if you did. They look so cozy and warm.

Yes ma'am I most certainly do

They run $175 and up depending on what style, size and type of fur

I'm working on a mesh book tote. I'm learning how to crochet, so whether it will be finished or not is up in the air. I used double crocheted the bottom with a slip stitch around the edges and am now working on the mesh part

made my daughter 2 mock smock dresses for school then .... the little angel played with my sewing machine and got the tension knob allllllll messed up and so now I am at a loss.... I am not very smart when it comes to sewing machines and all the instructions say is take it to a professional..... yeah right.....

Could someone organize this thread? I have to go through a ton of pages to find new things or things I have forgotten and it's taking longer and longer. I would do it but I have no idea how! I was thinking of something like how they have the recipes on the other page. Sorta organized into categories like: scrapbooking, jewelry/bead making, purse/bag making, painting, etc... Just an idea!

At the birthday party for one of mine we made "stained glass" lanterns. It's just a baby food jar with tissue paper decoupaged onto the outside. I then used a light gauge wire and twisted it around the opening of the jar and made it into a handle. Then the kids put tealights in them. They turned out pretty cute, were easy to make even for the younger kids and made a great take home favor for our campout birthday party. Some of the kids did glitter, some added stickers too. There are also tin punch candle holders but if your girls are younger that one would be a little more difficult (think ice pic stabbing holes into a soup can filled with ice! Much room for injuries! I wouldn't have done this one with my girl scout troop when I led.)

In our GS troop we made cocoa mixes and put them into decorated mugs that the girls gave to their parents as gifts. We bought the plastic mugs from Oriental Trading Company that have the removable paper inside that you can attach pictures to or just color. The cocoa mixes were placed in the plastic cake decorating bags (cake aisle @ Michaels). Layer the cocoa on the bottom, then chocolate chips or small candies, then mini marshmallows; tie the top and there you go.

This is just a general what are you making now thread so it is just about as organized as it will get. There have been jewelry and quilting etc threads but most of them die.... usually the clumped threads last the longest lol.
