Great Gourd Ideas!

I know these aren't exactly homemade but I "designed" the layout... I got the succulents from Lowes and the saucers and small stones from Michaels, (the arts and crafts store). I lined the bottom with plain gravel (from the driveway) added the plants and a layer of dirt and the rocks and stones. I plan on giving them as Christmas presents.

thanks jen and cynthia! We sell em and I love to make them. I am working on some newer themes for the lamps, have a true blood theme in the works and thinking about a twilight only because it would sell quick!

Did you know all cactus is a succulent but not all succulents are cactus! That's as much as I know about them but I love them. I've got 2 cactus in my sunny kitchen window. One has "had babies" 3 times in the last 12 years. It's really neat watching the little cactus grow out of the side.

Love the gourd ideas. We are setting up a new patio and may just have to copy that idea for our lighting!!

haha. We are the only ones that I have ever found that make the gourds in the same exact fashion we do.

Love them! I have most of my entire front yard done in succulents. They are great plants! The combinations you've chosen are gorgeous.

I love this thread. I just haven't had much to offer in the way of a craft. But I am now making some horsehair baskets. I have made pine needle baskets for years and I took what I have learned from that and tried it on horsehair.
