I'm woodburning a box for my mom for christmas

It's a cheap wooden box my art teacher had at school, but I'm hoping it turns out pretty! I'm adding some watercolor to make it more colorful. The theme is morning glories and butterflies

The only irritating thing about it, is that since it is cheap, it is made of different types of wood. So as I'm burning along, one part may not burn very quickly, so I go slower...then all of a sudden BAM it burns super easy and I get a big black mark

Thank goodness for razors so I can scrape it away!

Crochet: Booties, Face Clothes, Dishclothes, and Hot Plate or Pot Holders.

I am trying to locate a reasonable place where I can purchase ceramic Roosters and Hens.
I don't want salt and pepper shakers etc. Just hens and roosters. Found tons of shakers
and creamers.

And I don't want them mounted on a base. Just hens or roosters looking natural. Know what I want....unable to find. Can you offer suggestions? Thanks, Aria

I make old time log cabin doll houses. and paint on mirrors and do glass etching I love it all .
I do it all by hand including the furniture in the cabins and the little quilts on the beds love it all .
