Yes, I used Delicas to make them. And I designed this pattern last week. I was inspired by the Artistic Cowboy Boots in the magazine 'Cowboys & Indians'.

I just finished this quilt I've been working on for a while.

This is the first big(ish) quilt I've made; I'm pretty happy with it.

All machine or a mix of machine/hand stitching?

It's all machine stitched except for the binding, which was tacked down by hand. I don't really have the patience for all hand quilting, unfortunately. My mother does it that way, but I'm always ready to move onto the next project.

Me, too. I started crocheting a blanket for my grandson when my son and daughter-in-law found out they were having a boy... this was probably June of 2008.

My grandson was 2 in September. Maybe I'll get this blanket done in time for HIS child??
