Crafters- What are you making???

Had a very productive day in my pottery studio yesterday, working on some wind chimes, boxes and bowls! Here are some pics (these are still wet clay, need to dry, bisque fire, glaze and re-fire it'll be while before they are completely done)

More softies! I've been thinking about selling them on Etsy, but I've always had a hard time letting go of the things I make. All handmade by me with the needle poked fingers to prove it. I sometimes use the machine to sew the bodies and larger pieces, but hand stitch the details. Never use glue of any kind. Ain't they cute?!

That penguin is adorable....thank you for mentioning the site. I've spent the past 2 days searching and searching for a stuffed animal pattern that I thought I could try making. Not to mention, there's not too many cute, free patterns...I found a hippo I desperately want to make, but I'm gonna have to buy the pattern.

I recently decided to try sewing again. I've made a placemat for a Christmas present...yeah just 1, I decided a few days before Christmas that quilted placemats would be a present for my Grandma. I'm working on the other 3 at the moment. I don't know how to use my sewing machine

but I do have one, so I'm hand sewing and hand quilting. Since I'm not good at it, I'm very, very slow. I also am a pro at procrastination.

Stuffed animals generally seem simple enough that I could get one finished and enjoy myself while doing it. I mean, I have a sewing room...I should use it right?

Here's a picture of one of the placemat tops, just cause there can never be too many pictures. I'll post when I'm finished as well, but they won't be anything wonderful. The quilting will just be crisscross lines.

Hello I just found this thread. I love doing crafts. I will be making a couple crayon rolls for DS to take to school for his class's arts & crafts basket they will be raffleing off at their Spring Carnival. I also like to crochet, sew and repurpose itmes as much as I can. I have also been making small pots for starting my seeds in out of old cans and wall paper. Here is a pic of a crayon roll I made DS our of one of his old polo's and pair of jeans.
