Crafters- What are you making???

i agree i have seen lots of things i love, everyone has done an awesome job!! i'm so glad u all like them!! i have not sewn in years so i was worried i forgot how to,lol.

here is a pic of my appron for bakeing, i forgot i made one for me too. it is tinkerbell and the disney fairies, lol. i'm a tink fanatic so i thought it would be neat to make mine in them. this one is reversable and the back is all checkered pattern and purple it is from the same fab as the pockets were made on this side.

we also have made peanut brittle, choc covered cashews, wine, marshmallow guns and some other things, it has been loads of fun makeing everything, i think this will be an awesome christmas after all, can't wait to see everyone open their gifts!!!

I have to make more praline pecans tonight. I seem to have eaten most of the first batch

The honey-roasted ones are good too, but once I eat a praline pecan I can't stop!
They were GOOD!!!!

Also have to make more cookies, but I did manage to give almost all of the first 2 batches away. These next ones are to take to Mom's for the family gathering on the 26th-28th.

I made more cranberry chutney to give as gifts, after eating some on a dinner roll with honey-baked ham on it. YUMMY!
A friend tried it, and liked it so well she was eating it on crackers! So she got a jar of it to go with the necklace & earring set I made her.

Making gifts has just been so fun this year. I'm already planning the stuff I will make next year. And Mom's giving me her first pressure cooker so I can learn to use it in 2009.

She only has, like, 3 pressure cookers

It'll be good having a hand-me-down to learn on! That way I can call Mom and say "Help! What next?"

lol wegot.. I decided in November to make presents...needless to say, I'm running way behind. Guess I meant, "for presents ...Next year"!!
I bought my first pressure cooker this year. I think I might be brave enough to use it next year too.. lol
If only I could call my mom and ask her what next.. She hasn't the foggiest clue on craft stuff. She's the one finding stuff and telling me I need to learn how to do it, and make one for her. lol

I'm ashamed to be asking this, but what do you do with pressure cookers? Dh was trying to look for a canner for me on the internet and said all he could find were pressure cookers/canners. Are they the same thing? My mom has a pressure cooker, but mostly all she made in it was ham and beans with left over ham bone.

I hope to be able to post my pics tonight of the stuff that I have made for Christmas

...There were only like four or 5 things lol Just didn't get much done with being in school this semester.

This is what DGS and DGD did today.

Grandson's

The recipe that came with my kit didn't make as much as it said it did, so we didn't have enough for a whole house. They had fun though.

Granddaughter kept forgetting to take pics ofher hats, so I will post those after Christmas. I also forgot to take pics of her ricebag and DH's shooting bags.

I made a cheesecake for tomorrows dinner. We are breaking tradition and having lasagna, artichokes, and olive foccia bread for Christmas dinner, with caramel cheesecake for dessert.

Have a wonderfully merry Christmas everyone!!!!

The totebags I made had were well liked and the girls had made the trivets for each family member and it became a guessing game as to what each might be as they opened them. All were really well liked.

I really need to get a better handle on what I'm going to do for next year, this year I just couldn't get going at all, and now being sick for the last couple of weeks, its been HELL.

I need to make at least ONE thing a month throughout the year, so I don't get caught with my pants down again.
