Cute pincushions...might have to give a few a try!
I am working on oldest DD, afghan for baby due in April. Need to get to work on swap project too.
Also, I need a few crafty ideas...oldest DD is getting married in September. Do you all have any ideas for decorating?? They don't have a theme yet, but colors will be black, a pretty blue (almost navy, but lighter)& silver. I'm in charge of making the invites too (she liked the ones I did for her brother, but don't want the same ones).

This was as the cake was going together. Shows the folding panels behind the cake table and if ya look to the left we hung mylar streamer curtains over the windows they were silver and royal blue.

Getting tables covered with a royal blue plastic covers and others were white. Also used some blue covers to cover the wooden collums
then wrapped white tole and silk ivy on them also.

They were going to Hawaii for Honey Moon so decorated the bar for that theme

Little dishes of mints and mini chocolate bars with special labels were in the middle of all the guests tables. Along with disposable cameras, gel candles in dollar tree bought stem ware on mini mirros.

Here this will give you idea of how we did the Wedding Parties table.

We decorated the garden area for the Ceremony with silk flowers, ivy and tole.

The cake table with the fountain lit and flowing.

If ya want to see some more I will post some later. I hope that gives you some ideas.

Congrats on the up coming wedding. They are a lot of work But can be so much fun and so rewarding.

Find any flowerpots?!!! I need to look in a box in a the garage I think I have a very very small one in, lol!!..gawd, it's contagious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great job on that wedding Karan!!! Did ya'll add-on or build that room just for the wedding? I notice the unfinished walls so it must be a new room? I hope that outside gazebo is yours and not rented since that is absolutley BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! I would LOVE to have that in my yard!!! I would have a grapevine or a silver lace vine growing over the top..what an awesome backyard getaway that would be!!!

What really cute ideas! What I like about these cushions, are they don't seem like they will roll off the table at the least provocation!

Your right Scrambled...and when I have time to hunt...I know that in the fellowship hall are the silliest looking 2" tall flower pots with a sprig of silk flowers sticking up....I have thought they were useless...now....
